Premium 3

Premium 3 is a series of templates for Zen Cart 1.3.8 and 1.3.9, inspired by some of the long established e-commerce sites like Victoriassecret.com, Venus.com etc — simple & elegant, and the homepage is just used for displaying multiple banners containing nice graphics and information to attract potential customers.

This template is suitable for sites selling fashion items, clothes & apparel, accessories, cosmetics, beauty products, jewelry, perfume, watches, art, gifts, collectibles etc.

The banner blocks are actually internal Zen Cart banners, so you can easily manage the banners using the admin Banner Manager (instructions also included in the downloaded readme file). You can choose to activate all banner locations or not, for example, activate just Banner 1 and 2, or just Banner 1, 3 and 4, or just Banner 1. The widths of the banner images should be the same as the demo, but the height is up to you (dimensions and source file included in download package).

The features of these templates are:

  1. The width of 880px makes the templates wide enough to have left and right column.
  2. The top menubar (Ez-Pages menu) has a nice hover effect — and you can add/edit/sort the menu items using the admin.
  3. If you want a different width, it can be easily changed by editing the CSS file (just change the 880px to other figures and the whole site will adapt automatically). Of course then you need to change the width of your banners to fit the new width.
  4. You can use the admin to set the 3-column layout to 2-column layout and the template will also adapt automatically. Also, the widths of the columns can also be adjusted to suit, without breaking the layout.
  5. All the styles are defined inside one CSS file (it’s up to you whether you want to tinker with it):

Not included: The source for the banners DO NOT INCLUDE the photos of the pretty girl and the cosmetic product photos, as I do not have the distribution rights. The banner source will only have the color, text and shapes — so you can still use them as reference.
License: You’re allowed to use the template only on one site and also edit the template to suit your needs. Re-distribution and re-selling are not allowed.

NOTE:
This template is quite different from other Zen Cart templates — You can activate the left and right side columns BUT they will appear only on the internal pages, not the homepage.
